Women's Drum Circle :: Connecting with the Ancestors

  • Women's Drum Center 2242 University Ave West St. Paul, Minnesota 55114 (map)

I am collaborating with my dear, wild friend Gabriel Ross to bring you a special drumming event to explore healing with the ancestors…

Women’s Drum Circle :: Connecting with the Ancestors

An evening of meditation, drumming, breathing, and honoring.

Fall is the season of the thinning veil, the shedding leaves, the chilling air, and the descent into more darkness. Come gather in community around our warm fire with our warm hearts to honor our ancestors and family members who have traveled this earth before us. We’ll use the beat of our drums to connect with the earth before she slips into her winter slumber and to the roots of our history and ourselves.

The evening will be a creative blend of drumming, breathing, a guided meditation, and journaling to feed and nourish your spirit. No experience with drumming or meditation necessary!

Bring with you a journal, a favorite drum, if you have your own (drums provided if you need one!), and a blanket or yoga mat if you’d like to lie down for the meditation.

When: Saturday, Nov 17th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
*please arrive at 6:15pm if you need a drum
