Summer Reset Retreat

*I’ll be leading a short breathwork and creative intention setting for summer at the end of the retreat. Come join my fellow practitioners for a day of resetting and rejuvenating!

Summer is the season of celebration, heat, abundance of colors and produce, and the heart. In this Reset Retreat, we'll tap into the lessons this season has for us to prepare you to make the most of summer ahead with hands-on activities and a movement practice for your body.

Stockheart Seasonal Reset Retreats are an opportunity to share and experience foundational resources to support your body, mind, and everything in between throughout the seasons of life. Schedule time for yourself to gather in community of other wellness-seekers to learn and practice ways to supplement your health and wellness at home.

Our presenters for the Summer 2019 mini-retreat are:

Devon Dennis (mediator of metamorphosis at devondennis.com) who will lead us through an opening meditation to invite in the energy of summer

Dr. Haley Smith and Dr. Jacob Panka (naturopathic doctors and founders of Panka Natural Health at pankanaturalhealth.com) who will inspire us with a talk and demo on essential oils:

**Self Care with Essential Oils: Come discuss the science and safety of essential oil use with our two naturopathic doctors. Uses for essential oils presented include aromatherapy and formulas for massage, baths, foot rubs, lotions, and mouth rinses. There will be essential oils to smell and experience. A demonstration will be provided on how to make home-made lotions. Join the fun and learn how to effectively and safely use your essential oils!

Kim Cramer (yoga and mindful movement teacher at kimcrameryoga.com) who will guide us through a movement practice with yoga

**Treat Your Feet: Feet are the foundation of movement. Picture for a moment a rollerskate that is missing a wheel, and how quickly that skate could send a body flying through the air toward an unpleasant landing. Issues in the feet can have the same effect, affecting how the rest of your body moves (or doesn't). Feet are also our connection to the earth, literally grounding us and giving us a sense of calm and stability. Join us as we explore what our feet do, what they are capable of doing, and how small changes in your feet can have a big impact on your life.

Helen Buron (intuitive artist and healing practitioner at helenburon.com) who will close the day with a meditation and an intuitive craft ritual experience to set intentions for summer

**To tend to your "everything in between", Helen will guide you through a mini-breathwork technique and guided visualization to feel into your heart and the intentions of what you'd like to grow this summer season. To tap into the inner child and playful energy of summer, you'll then be guided into an easy craft activity to open your creativity and explore as a possible practice to use at home.
