Women's Drum Circle :: Exploring the Elements // FIRE

  • Women's Drum Center 2242 University Ave West St. Paul, Minnesota 55114 (map)

I am collaborating with my dear, wild friend Gabriel Ross to bring you a special drumming event to explore the four elements and what they can teach us…

Women’s Drum Circle :: Exploring the Elements // FIRE

An evening of meditation, drumming, breathing, and exploring.

The elements of air, water, fire, and earth have unique and inspiring aspects that we can embody and bring their lessons back into our lives.  When we connect to the natural rhythms of the planet and her seasons, we tune in to our own ability to grow, bloom, release, and begin again.

As the earth begins to come alive with more warmth, color, and sunshine, we’ll invite the element of FIRE to inspire us into action and aliveness too!  To begin, we’ll explore our connection to fire by discussing what it symbolizes and how it shows up for us in our lives. Then we’ll connect to its energy and unique qualities using our drums, our breath, our body, and our intention to see what FIRE has to teach us.

The evening will be a creative blend of drumming, breathing, a guided meditation, and journaling to feed and nourish your spirit. No experience with drumming or meditation necessary!

Bring with you a journal, a favorite drum, if you have your own (drums provided if you need one!), and a blanket or yoga mat if you’d like to lie down for the meditation and journey.
