Replenish and Release // A Virtual Workshop with Core Studio

In this 90 minute Virtual workshop led by Heather Fisher and Helen Buron, we will use some of our favorite tools (movement, breathwork, journaling, and meditation) to help us process the heavy experiences and emotions of this most unprecedented year before turning our hearts to the new year soon to come.

Through this journey we will release the grit and reflect on what “gold” may have appeared for us through this trial by fire year…..then offer gratitude for what is present now and vision what we would like to bring forth in 2021.

No previous yoga, meditation or breathwork experience necessary: if you have breath and a body and are seeking a way to process and heal from this tumultuous year (and have a little spark of hope for 2021 you’d like to nurture), this offering is for you!

Sunday, December 6th
6:30-8:00pm Central Time
Price: $39
Via Zoom

What you need:
For this workshop you will need the following: 2 pillows, a Yoga block or thick hardcover book, 1 or 2 blankets, pen and paper or journal, and a candle.

About the creators:
Heather Fisher

Heather Fisher is the proud owner of Core Pilates and Yoga. She loves Pilates and Yoga for the wonderful things they do for the body, but she also realizes that connecting mind, body and spirit through these practices has a ripple effect through her client’s lives and can be the gateway for them to go deeper.

Heather’s personal experience of the past year includes not only having to shut down her business due to COVID, moving online overnight and later reopening in a vastly different landscape, but also the deep grief and loss of losing her father to cancer. She knows she has been forever changed by the past year, but it has also been an opportunity to release a lot of what wasn’t working in the first place.

Through these once in a lifetime events she has constantly sought out her practices and come to rely on them more than ever, so she was inspired to offer this workshop (and collaborate with her dear friend and healer Helen) as a tool for others to process the events of 2020 with some breath, movement, reflection and gratitude.

Helen Buron
Helen Buron is an energy healing practitioner, breathwork facilitator, and an artist who enjoys celebrating the seasons, the cycles, and the transitions of life with heart-centered people. She creates sacred spaces where you can come to do your own healing work and guides you to find movement and clarity with your energy and emotions by coming back home to your body again and again.

Like everyone this year, Helen has been in the process of pausing, letting go, grieving, and discovering new ways of being. This time of year is usually one of harvest, gratitude, celebration, and gathering together with loved ones and that probably will look really different this year.

Before jumping right to finding what we are grateful for, Helen knows it’s important to also acknowledge the challenges, the struggles, and the hard things we experience being human. In this season of 2020, she’s had to say goodbye to spaces that have closed, put on hold work that she loves, and hasn’t been able to hug her grandma since March. So she is grateful to be collaborating with Heather to bring us together (virtually!) to support each other in community (we aren’t meant to travel through life alone!) and gift ourselves time for inward reflection, releasing, and replenishing (and anything else we are ready to receive!).
